LAUZON, Gerald J.
Born January 27, 1931, died suddenly on November 4, 2012, at Aldergrove, B.C. He was born in Alexandria, Ontario and moved to B.C. in 1954. Gerry is survived by Elaine (Bellamore), his wife of 57 years and his daughter, Rejeanne VanRyn (Richard). He is survived, also, by his sister Pauline (Richard) Brunet; his brother, Gilles (Andrea), of Alexandria, Ont. and his sister Michelle (Michael) Birk, of Kingston, Ont. Gerry was predeceased by his son, Mark Gerald, on Dec. 24, 2011; brother Reynald, on August 28, 2012, as well as his parents, Albert and Gertrude Lauzon. Gerry worked for Hudson Building Supplies Ltd. for 34 years and later for Northern Building Supplies. He loved fishing and hunting and he loved to travel. He and Elaine have driven across Canada, visited Fiji and went to Yuma, AZ for the winters. He made many friends along the way. He leaves, also, his fishing buddy, Joe Elser, a good and caring friend. He also leaves his special longtime friend, Gerry Gagnier, now of Victoria, previously of Alexandria, Ont. Gerry was ill for a long time and finally he has gone to a greater fishing and hunting ground. Burial has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory to Semiahmoo House Society, 15306 - 24th Ave., Surrey, B.C. V4A 2J1, would be greatly appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be at Sunrise Golf Course, at 188th St. and #10 Highway, on December 9th, 2012, from 1 - 4:00 pm. Family and friends are most welcome to come and join us.
