COOK, Gordon "Ashley" David
Died peacefully March 15, 2013 at Langley Memorial Hospital. Ashley will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jennifer; his three amazing sons Damon, Devon, and Dryden; his loving dog Thor; and many close friends and family, parents, Father Gordon Cook, Flo Cook; sister Janelle Cook, Rob Schwab, children Cody, Kesley, Jesslyn, Dawson; many uncles, aunts, cousins and friend James Foley. Ashley will be most remembered by his fellow motorcycle enthusiasts of both street and motorcross, and would never miss a sunny day to be on a bike. Throughout his battle with brain cancer, he was seriously brave, and gave strength and hope to those around him. Ash, you will be missed most for your gift of being brutally blunt and honest, and never letting anyone's opinion stand in the way of what you thought was right. May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be forever at your back... Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 20675-87th Ave, (Walnut Grove) Langley. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer would be appreciated. Online condolences can be sent to
