We were very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We knew him as a neighbour starting back in 1963 when we first came to Galt. He was a cheerfull great friend both at school and after school was out. We enjoyed his good sense of humour and at times his advice. He enjoyed the out door life , playing cards and a good cigar. He will be missed by many people.

Another sad milestone...
I remember him well as I was sent to his office (Vice-principal GCI and VS) frequently. We almost became friends. He even invited me to take extra Christmas holidays, i.e., a suspension for ragging the French teacher. "Mister Jack" had a penchant for asking me for my home phone number.

Still, ... very sorry to hear this news.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Jack's passing.
I remember him at G.C.I. as being a fair and pleasant man at all times.
God Bless him.
