de WOLF _ John Anthony St. Etienne passed away peacefully and with dignity at St. Paul's Hospital, on May 28, 2003. Lovingly remembered by his wife Mary Portelance; children, Daurean (Robert Sloan), John (Lisa), David (Janice) and Gaelan; grandchildren Ty, Meaghan and Brent (B.J.); sister Georgia Macrae and many relatives and friends. John had a multi-faceted career. After serving as a Special Advisor to the Minister of Finance in Ottawa, he pursued a career in financial/economic journalism. He was active in reviving the Progressive Conservative Party in B.C. and served as Leader. Subsequently, John served as a policy advisor/consultant to several B.C. governments while pursuing an independent economic consultancy. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. from the First Memorial Funeral Chapel (Boal Chapel), 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, B.C. (exit 22). In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's memory to the B.C. Transplant Foundation c/o Heart Transplant.
