Kathy (Kazue) Koyanagi September 10, 1929- December 27, 2012 Our beloved Baba has sadly left us but is now reunited with her husband Kit, and her parents Yoshio and Kunie Hanada. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by her children: Roger (Susan), Ray (Debbie), Jennifer (Ray Takai) and Randy (Joanne); her 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Kathy was instrumental in travelling to Ottawa to speak with the government on behalf of Japanese Canadians about redress for all. She was a hard worker and prior to her retirement ran Templeton Market along with Kit . They were pillars of their community. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 5 at 2pm at the Burquitlam Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
