Kent Humphrey February 25, 1922 - February 17, 2013 Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully, days short of his 91st birthday. Kent was born in Craik, SK. In 1948, he married the love of his life Elsie Larke of Morden, MB and during his career in the RCAF, they were stationed to a number of cities across Canada and in France. After his retirement from the Air Force the family relocated to Tsawwassen, BC and Kent began a second career at UBC. Retiring for good in 1987, Kent and Elsie moved to Ladner, BC and continued to enjoy life. Kent was an active and dedicated volunteer throughout his life, serving on the Board of Delta Hospital, active in his church, working at the Community Police Office, and driving cancer patients to medical appointments. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Burk and Lee, and his sister Loretta. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 65 years Elsie, his daughter Roberta (Carlo), his son Burk, grandchildren Alex and Julia, family and friends. Thanks to Kent's caregivers Jean and Christina for the past 3 months of love and devotion. Please join the family in celebrating Kent's life on March 7 at 2 pm at the Tsawwassen United Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Delta Hospital Auxiliary.
