Lewis Victor Glavina 1924 - 2012 Lewis Victor Glavina, born September 3rd, 1924 in Malta, passed away on November 3rd, 2012 at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. surrounded by his loving family. Lewis was a very gentle man whose deep and abiding Catholic faith sustained and guided him throughout his life. He served as the National Link for the Missionaries of Charity. He inspired in his children an enthusiasm for nature, music, sport, and art, and he was an excellent amateur photographer. Surviving Lewis are his wife, Rosemary, and his children Helen, Margaret, John (Jinny), Paul (Meenu), Andrew (Pinkan), Mark (Roxanne), and David (Nancy). He was inordinately fond and proud of his grandchildren Daniel, Jessica, Joseph, Alexandra, Jordan, Samuel, Hayley, Kamal, Arianne, Dominique, Henry-Lewis, and Nathaniel. Prayers will be offered at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6th at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Ave. in Burnaby, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday November 7th at 10:00am.
