Bryan Ness did a lovely tribute to Lois at PoCo Heritage's General Meeting today, on this, the first anniversary of her passing. We miss her!

I got to know Lois through PoCo Heritage. Her encyclopedic knowledge of local history was astounding, as was her enthusiasm for it. She was sharp, witty, didn't suffer fools gladly, and never lost an opportunity to insult me whenever we met! I will miss that. She was a wonderful lady whom I will always remember with fondness. I offer my sympathies to the family.

I loved working with Lois at the Poco Public Libray and then the Terry Fox Public Library. She was a real sweetheart.

To all the Milne family - I will remember Lois and Keith fondly. They were often a fixture at our Kitchen table not to mention the many parties with in the basement at Mom and Dads. So sorry for your loss. She will be missed.

Lois was so committed to keeping the history of Port Coquitlam alive for future generations. She was so proud of the heritage of the city and of the work of the society. I worked with Lois at the Terry Fox Library and in the Heritage and Cultural Society at its beginnings. Lois will be missed!.

Lois was a great advocate for Port Coquitlam History. The Port Coquitlam Heritage and Cultural Society was able to celebrate their 25th anniversary last year because of Lois' help and long time commitment. I remember attending many Heritage meetings in her suite. Her influence and guidance will be sorely missed. I extend my sympathy to her family. If it is any consolation she had a life well lived.
