PEPE, Lucy (Lucia) (nee Felicetti)
With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Lucy (Lucia) Pepe on February 11, 2012. Lucy was born in Cosenza, Italy in November 1929 and came to Vancouver in May of 1952. She met her husband Carl and married him 3 weeks later on June 2, 1952. Lucy's passion was running The Vancouver International Marathon. She ran her first marathon in May of 1980 and completed 30 consecutive marathons. She ran her final race in May of 2010. Lucy is predeceased by her brother Joseph. She is survived by her husband Carl, son Dominic, 3 daughters Angela (Warren), Rose Marie, Anne Marie (Rico) and her 5 grandchildren Brandan, Carly, Emilio, Gina and Isabella. Thank you to all the staff at St. Paul's, Palliative Care Unit. Viewing on February 20th from 6 - 8 pm at First Memorial, 602 Kingsway, Vancouver. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, February 21st at 9:30 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 1430 W. 38th Ave, Vancouver. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby. Meet at entrance at the black main gate at 11:15 am.
