CLARK, Martha Elizabeth
March 21, 1928 - January 22, 2013
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mom, proudest nanny and gentle gg. Mom showed us all that family was the most important thing to her. She is survived by her children Garland, Cindi and Frank (Savereux), Dorian and Suzanne, grandchildren Hayley and Hannah, Bridget and Sunny and great- granddaughter Charly. She was predeceased by her husband Jerry (Gerard) Clark in 1998. Mom was born in Lacombe, Alberta and her surviving sister Ellen Grose resides there still. Mom lived most of her life in Coquitlam, B.C. She was the youngest of 12 children and married in to a large family. She was excited to see how the families continued to grow and was so proud to reach the milestone of great-great-auntie. Keeping in touch with so many family members and being able to hug the newest addition gave her so much joy. "Marge" had a way of making her friends feel like family, too. Mom was such a gentle soul, except if you put her in a sporting event. She was the loudest cheerleader and biggest fan at any of her family's events and she anxiously awaited every Vancouver Canucks hockey game. We will miss her every day. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Children's Hospital or Canuck Place. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a future date.
