ANGER _ Michael Dewayne, born January 13, 1968 in Windsor, Ontario, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and close friends, May 5, 2006 at the Foothills Medical Centre, Calgary, Alberta. He is survived by his devoted partner, Kent Finley of Lethbridge, Alberta. Michael was the beloved son of Madeleine Welch and husband Dave of Tappen, B.C., and dearest brother of Jodie (Ken) St. Antoine of LaSalle, Ontario; Mark (Joline), Thunder Bay, Ontario; Jeffrey (Jennifer), Welland, Ontario; and Darin (Mary), Windsor, Ontario. A dear step-brother to Shauna (Chris), London, Ontario; Cassie, Chatham, Ontario; and Zachary Welch, Edmonton, Alberta. Michael was also an uncle and great uncle to 15 nieces and nephews and one great nephew. Extended family includes Chris (Orion) Fike, Bryce Finley and their mother Judi (AI) Gedcke. Michael was a feisty, fun-loving soul who made an immediate and lasting impression on everyone he met. His sense of humour, quick wit and passion for life will be sorely missed. Cooking was one of his passions and he fulfilled his dream of opening his own restaurant while living in Kelowna, B.C. Other places he called home during his all-too-brief life included Windsor, Toronto, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Valemount, Tappen and Lethbridge. Memorial Service will be held at the St. Gabriel Church, Windsor, Ontario at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 20, 2006.
