Patrick James ("Paddy") Carroll August 25, 1934 - October 30, 2012 My dad and my friend passed away October 30, 2012. He was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his wife June, father James, mother Jane and brothers Paul and Mart. He is survived by his daughter Janey (Bill) Bruchet, granddaughters Leah and Lauren, sister Mary, brother Tom (Lillian), nieces and nephews, Dorothy ("Bunny") Rahn and many friends. Paddy served in the RCAF from 1953 to 1958. He was employed with the Vancouver School Board until he retired. He loved fishing and hockey. An ideal day for Paddy would be fishing all day and coming home to watch the Canucks. Paddy and June had a place at Wildwood and then at Whatcom Meadows in Washington. They both loved to go to their trailer and spend time with the many friends they had made there. My dad had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh. I will remember him as a great dad and a great friend and will miss him always. A Celebration will be announced at a later date.
