Born on Feb. 28,1924 in London, England, within the sound of the Bow Bells. Emigrated in 1957. Pre-deceased by wife Florence of 60 yrs. Survived by daughters Joyce Whitehouse (Tom) Jean McCourt (Barry) son John, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, good friend and companion Peggy Merritt and favourite cousin Jennifer Beynon and many relatives and friends in England and Canada. He lived his life to the fullest. Passionate about boxing, golf, lawn bowling, dancing and his family . He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him for his wicked sense of humour and constant singing.
