Robert SYNGE Obituary
SYNGE, Sir Robert Carson, Bob 1922 2011 Bob passed away peacefully on August 17, 2011, in Surrey, B.C. He is survived by Jean, his loving wife of 67 years; two daughters, Donna (Richard) Harvey and Wendy (Bob) Reddington; five grand-kids and seven great-grand-kids ; his sister Patricia (Em), sister-in-law Isabelle and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Born in Vulcan, Alberta on May 4, 1922, Bob owned Bob's Furniture Store in Langley, B.C. for 33 years. He was actively involved in many service clubs, including the Kinsmen, K-40, Masons and Shriners. His family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Fleetwood Place for the wonderful care they gave him. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 29th at the Eureka Masonic Hall, 20701 Fraser Hwy., in Langley, B.C. For those desiring, donations made in Bob's memory to a charity of your own choice would be most appreciated.

Dear Donna and Wendy,
My sincere condolences to you and your families on the passing of your beloved father Bob. I will always remember your dad and his special smile and that roguish Irish twinkle in his eyes.
Your father and mother had a special place in our family and in the heart's of my father Evert, Jean's uncle, and my mother Mandy Larson.
The many family gatherings and important moments in their lives were marked by Bob and Jean's presence. Those were the days.
