FORSYTH, Robert George
September 12, 1933 – August 25, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert age 78, son of David and Nancy Forsyth. He was born in Princeton but raised in Tulameen and moved to Vancouver in 1956. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Rose (Predie). He also leaves behind his special cousin Jim Hunter (Marg) of Oliver and boyhood friend Dinny Mullin (Beryl) of Princeton. In May he was diagnosed with cancer and following chemo and radiation treatment, in August his lungs deteriorated and he had to rely on being connected to oxygen. He died in VGH after an 11 day stay. He started work as an ironworker but changed direction and became a semi truck driver for Canada Safeway/ Summit and retired there after 38 years. He and his wife enjoyed travelling the world and visited many interesting places. No service, flowers or cards by request. Cremated August 29, 2012. Condolences to the family may be sent by email
