Robert KING

KING _ Robert Glenn. Born May 27, 1947, Malarctic, Quebec. Passed peacefully October 17, 2003 after a brief struggle with throat cancer. Robbie lived for music. Legendary for his inimitable skill on keyboards and B3 organ, over 40 years he performed and recorded with countless famous and emerging artists, generously sharing his love, enthusiasm and inspiration. He will be missed by friends, family and fellow musicians around the world, his son Michael Robert Hennell King, ex wife Valley Hennell, and longtime companion Willie MacAlder. He was predeceased by his father Bob King, mother Clarice King Hicks and step-father Emile Hicks. Memorial celebration November 9 at 5:30 p.m. at Arts Club Theatre Granville Island with wake following at the Yale.
