Aug. 27, 1932 - January 25, 2018
We are saddened to announce the passing of Ron, best friend and husband to Pat, father to Glen (Angela), Lesley and Andrew (Darah), loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, good friend to so many and long time employee of Canadian Airlines. He will be deeply missed by all. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 10, at The City Center Church 13062 - 104 Ave Surrey at 2pm. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Ron's name to the Rick Hansen Institute or The BC Cancer Agency

I will miss Ron deeply: his kindness, optimism, and strength. He referred to us as the "book-ends," the oldest and youngest Horn grandchildren. Always made me smile!

Loved this man. When I transferred to YYZ in 1974 from YVR, he and his family invited my family to his home for dinner. That was a highlight to a stressful time for us and so much appreciated. It was the start of a long-standing friendship. Ron was ever a loyal and stalwart friend to his co-workers and to the "Orange". I am missing him. My regards to Pat and family.

Worked with Ron for many years in YYZ. Always found him to a fair man willing to listen to both sides.We had a lot of good laughs together. He was a gentleman and I am sure he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rest in Peace Ron....
