Stanislaw Roman Koczwarski January 28, 1923 - February 1, 2013 Passed away peacefully, on February 1st, 2013, in Vancouver at the age of 90 years, predeceased by his first wife Wanda Alexandra, followed by his second wife Janina. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Ryszard (Janice), Joanna, Justyn (Iwona) and his grandchildren Simon, Joel, Benjamin and Roxanne; and his stepchildren Ewa (Andrzej) and Krzysztof (Agata) and step grandchildren Joanne and Greg. Stanis?aw served in the Polish Military Mission in France during WWll with British and American forces, for which he received honours. After arriving in Canada, he was a realtor and businessman for over 60 years. He was a familiar member of the Polish community in Vancouver and the Okanagan. He had a deep faith and a positive spirit. Prayers will be said Wednesday, February 6th at 10:30am at St. Casimir's Church, 27th and Inverness, Vancouver, BC. (off Knight St.), followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Fr. Wladislaw Karciarz, Celebrant. Interment to follow, 3pm (the Divine Mercy hour) at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burnaby, BC.
