Sorry to hear of Stan's passing... and I am very sure you have heard similar stories.... but when I was a student at UBC in the late 60's I was working during the summer as a ticket agent at BC Ferries and one day when the traffic was very busy and there was a couple of sailings wait, I was at the toll booth when I mentioned to my colleague that I think the person that is coming towards the booth is Stanley Blank one of my teachers at UBC..... as Stan walked toward the booth not recognizing either of us and asked what the situation was and when the next sailing would be... as he turned around to go back to his car my colleague said I guess you can go back and fill in the Blanks!!!... Stan turned around , gave us the evil eye and on he went....
again sorry for your loss...
