Susan Elizabeth Etheridge (nee Lowden) April 19, 1955-December 19, 2012 It is with deep sadness in our hearts we announce the sudden passing of Susan Etheridge (nee Lowden), who died peacefully on December 19th surrounded by her loving family. Susan was born April 19, 1955, and raised in Vancouver. In her youth, she played the bagpipes and was a member of the Vancouver Ladies Pipe Band where she made many good friends and fond memories. She was trained in interior design at Douglas College which led to a 30+ year career in visual presentation and display. Most recently, she worked at The Bay at Langley Willowbrook where she was known in every corner of the store. Susan will be remembered for her fun sense of humour, creative talents and positive free spirit. She will be greatly missed by her sons Steven and Blake (Stephanie), their father Doug, parents Robert and Barbara, brother Herb (Marilyn), sister Barbara (Ed), sister Brenda (Dana), nieces Amanda (Clayton) and Allison (Mark), nephew William, and Susan's many friends at The Bay. A celebration of Susan's life will be held on January 13th at McKee Seniors Recreation Centre, 5515 47th Ave, Ladner at 1:30 pm. The family wishes to thank the tremendous staff of Surrey Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Surrey Memorial ICU.
