1932 - 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother & Poh-Poh on July 29th, following a long hard fought battle with cancer. Tessa was predeceased by her husband Harry in 2010 and is survived by her children Allison (Bruce) and Craig (Penny) and grandchildren Graham, Taylor, Justin and Matthew. Tessa is also survived by her sisters Peggy, Betty (Ron), Janet (Doug) and her brother Bill as well as many nieces and nephews. Tessa was born in Prince Rupert, BC - the second youngest in a family of 14. She moved to Vancouver in 1947 and graduated from King Edward Secondary. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper with the majority of her career spent at Diamond Neon Mfg. Tessa enjoyed her retirement years, spending hours knitting, crocheting and line dancing. She especially loved "bowling" and cherished the time with family and friends, who were the most important part of her world. Larger than life, Tessa was always the centre of attention at any gathering. With a twinkle in her eyes, her goal was always to make others laugh and feel good about themselves. At Tessa's request, there will be no service. Her wish is to simply be remembered by all who shared the good and bad times with her.
