William Robert Lawrence "Laurie" Meggait

MEGGAIT William Robert Lawrence "Laurie"Born in Armstrong, BC on May 6th, 1924, Dad went to join Mom in heaven on August 13th, 2008. He is survived by his children Laurel and Raphael Stephens, Monica Barker, and Jocelyn Meggait and Dave Simon. He is also survived by his grandchildren Matthew and Gloria Barker, Rachel Stephens, Ana Barker and Graham Stephens. He also leaves behind siblings Mary Ayers of Los Altos Hills, CA, Martin and Gerry Meggait of Armstrong, BC, Ann and Brian Whalen of Sidney, BC, his sister-in-law Martha Armour of Burnaby, BC, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. We want to give special thanks to Dr. Liz Zubek, Toivo, Rajala and all the nurses, care-aides and staff of Baillie House for their love, compassion and excellent care of Dad. A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, August 21st at 1:00 pm at Burnett Fellowship Church, 20639 123rd Street. Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
