BRANDON Agnes Cecelia (nee Kilmartin) Agnes Cecelia Brandon (nee Kilmartin) of Burnaby, BC passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior March 28, 2009 at the age of 83. Born in Belcarres, Saskatchewan, Agi spent her childhood at the knee of her mother learning the values that made her who she was to all who knew and loved her; a quiet faith in God, love of family, abundant baking, ironed sheets, impeccable hair, filed nails and a spotless home. Employed by Northlands Paper, The Columbian Newspaper and Purdy's Chocolates, her favorite job title was that of Mom, Nan and Aunty and she ensured she passed on her love of crib, hockey and good coffee. Agi leaves to honor her life her daughter, Darlene, 5 granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren , 7 great-great-grandchildren, 6 surviving siblings, innumerable nieces and nephews and many friends. Agi was predeceased by her husband, Rusty (1974) and her daughter, Carol (1999). A special thank you to Mar for the loving care provided in Agi's final days. The celebration of Agi's life will be held at Columbia-Bowell Funeral Chapel, 219 Sixth Street, New Westminster on Saturday, April 4th at Noon. Luncheon provided and graveside interment to follow at Fraser Cemetary where her ashes will be laid to rest with those of her daughter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Agi's memory with a donation to World Vision.
