ELLIOTT, Martin Douglas
July 22, 1953 - March 27, 2014
Surrounded by his loving family, Martin passed peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer. Ever remembered by his beloved wife Elena, his adored daughter Kaitlyn, step-son Stan, his sisters Lynn, Joan (Keith), Pat (Phil) and brother Rob (Corrine). All his nieces and nephews will miss their charismatic, talented uncle. Martin's magnetic personality and zest for life attracted many great friends-beginning in Deep Cove and continuing throughout his life. He excelled at anything he started whether skiing, biking, hockey, golfing or working as a pipefitter. Martin's greatest passions were music and art. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road North Vancouver. Interment at North Vancouver Cemetery on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Music Therapy Association in memory of Martin at the Capilano University Foundation, 2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver, BC V7J 3H5. Martin's wisdom, spirit and articulate nature will be with us forever.
