McLEOD, Enid Jane
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Enid Jane McLeod on June 19, 2014. Enid is predeceased by her husband of 55 years Marvin in 2009 and brother Douglas in 2010. Survived by her two children Terry (Anna) and Allan (Shari), cherished grandchildren Kevin (Regan), Stacey (Corey) and precious great- granddaughter Maddox. Enid is also survived by sister Maureen and will be dearly missed by her two nieces Karen (Ron), Wendy (Peter) and their respective families. Born in Wardner, BC, Enid moved at an early age to Nelson, BC where she resided until moving to Vancouver. There she completed her training becoming a psychiatric nurse. During this time she met "My Marvin" whom she married in 1953. Together they raised their family in Burnaby where they established many lifelong relationships. Once becoming empty- nesters Enid and Marvin spent many enjoyable winter vacations in Maui and in later years, Arizona. Enid loved to read and one of her greatest pleasures was storytelling. She enjoyed her large circle of friends that included people of all ages. Enid also leaves behind her extended family, the Juba's, Veitch's and Cherri (Bill). The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Antonja, Wade and her many friends in the Belgravia. Memorial service to be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton Harron Funeral Home 5390 Fraser St., Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Burnaby Public Library, 6100 Willingdon Ave Bby,BC V5H4N5 in the name of Enid McLeod, are appreciated.
