POWER, Myles Joseph
November 28, 1947 – July 15, 2014
Our one-of-a-kind husband, father and grandfather, Myles Power was everything to us: funny, kind, wise, generous, strong and sensitive. Reluctant to let the centre of our family go, we were all able to say goodbye and let him know how much we loved him. Left behind to mourn are his best friend and wife of 44 years, Dawn; children Roberta, Carson (Nicole), Calla, and Ross; grandchildren Ross and Jimmy; mother Renee; and 16 siblings. Myles will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour and his way of making everyone feel important. In addition to following the stock market and the news, he was a man who most enjoyed spending time with his wife, who was by his side until his last moments. Myles Joseph Power was born in New Westminster and raised by his father and mother Patrick and Renee Power in Burnaby. He resided in Pitt Meadows for almost 40 years. He also owned and operated M.J. Power Building Supplies. A Service in Celebration of Myles' Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25th at St. Catherine's Anglican Church, 2211 Prairie Ave., Port Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Myles to the Scleroderma Society of Canada would be appreciated.
