DRIMOUSSIS, Konstantinos
On Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the age of 78, Kostas passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Survived by his daughters Efrosini (John), Sylvia, Adamantia Doula (Trent) and grandsons Dimitri, Christos Konstantine and Yiannis; predeceased by wife Koula. Born in Halandri, Greece, Kostas arrived in Vancouver in 1962 where he married, raised a family and worked as a steel worker. In his retirement, he was an active gardener and enjoyed working with his hands, fishing, visiting with friends and family and travelling. Kostas will be remembered for his generosity and caring as well as his determination. He will be greatly missed. Prayers will be held on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 7:00 pm at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus St., Vancouver where a Funeral service will be held Thursday April 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm. With Rev. Demetrios Partsafas officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation or the BC Cancer Society would be appreciated.
