Obituary

MUNRO _ George Neville (Nev). Nev was born on July 22, 1927 and died peacefully on August 31st, 2003 of Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Louise; daughters Kathie (Hugh) MacKinnon, Nancy (Brent) Lynch and Sandra (Michael) Smith and sons David (Heather) Munro and John (Ava) Munro. He was a wonderful Baha to his grandchildren Scott, Sean, Ross, Ryan MacKinnon; Kyle, Jessica, Rachel Lynch; Maxwell Smith; Kim, Paul, Christine Munro; Chico, Kaya, Joshua Munro. He is also survived by Mary Louise's brother Dave (Marilyn) Macfarlane and nieces and nephews. He graduated from Magee and received his degree in law at UBC. He practiced law in Vancouver and in North Vancouver, even though he was busy, he was a great dad to his children. Always a writer, he will be finishing his last novel in heaven. He enjoyed many sports and was a member of the 1948 Olympic Basketball Team in London, England. Nev was a gentle man, passionate love for life. His honesty and integrity touched all. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Amherst Private Hospital. In lieu of flowers, if you so wish, donations to the B.C. Parkinson's Association would be appreciated. To celebrate Nev's life, there will be a memorial at the Arbutus Club at 2001 Nanton Avenue, Vancouver, on September 14th, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. We miss and love you.
