September 18, 1946 - August 11, 2012 At age 65, Bob passed away peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster surrounded by many of his loved ones. Bob's battle with prostate cancer was difficult and the symptoms and challenges he was facing progressed quickly this summer. Thankfully, he was able to spend his summer at his favourite place, the cottage on Charleston Lake in Ontario, with his family. These were the times and memories he most cherished.

Bob was a proud man whose family was at the centre of his life. The love and time he had for his family, especially his grandchildren, was second to none. Although his life was taken long before we had hoped, he lived his days without wasting a minute, with his values and ways of being never deviating, and by loving us all by preparing us for a life that would be forever changed with his passing.
Survived by his beloved wife Marlene Davison, along with his daughters Trisha Davison (Rhys), Dana Guterres (Steve), and Tamela Manery (Rob) and adoring grandchildren Anna, Brendan, Nathan and Dylan along with his three brothers and their families John Davison, Brian Davison and Earl Davison. Bob is predeceased by his daughter Carla Davison and his parents Frances and Bruce Davison of Outlook, Saskatchewan.
In order to include his immediate family and soon to be born new grandchild, a service will be held in his honour in a few weeks at Valley View Funeral Home in Surrey, BC. Full details of the service can be found at www.valleyviewsurrey.ca under "obituaries and tributes" once confirmed.
In lieu of flowers, it is the family's wish that donations be made in Bob's name to Prostate Cancer Canada at www.prostatecancer.ca. The family wishes to sincerely thank family and friends who have provided love and support during this difficult time.
