August 26 1929 - October 20 2012 Mona was born in Hamiota, Manitoba and was raised on the family farm in Oak River. She eventually moved to Winnipeg where she met her future husband Keith. They moved west in 1960 where they built their own farm in Haney. She was a true partner, helping out wherever she could, whether it was filling water jars, feeding the livestock or even doing the books. She always kept beautiful gardens but most importantly kept up a cozy, loving household for the kids and grandchildren. Mom was always proud of her prairie roots, passing down the family history to the younger generations. She was also a lifelong Winnipeg blue bombers fan! She is survived by her devoted husband of fifty eight years, Keith. Son Blair and wife Karen, daughter Liza and husband Emmanuel, Daughter Cindy and Jet. As well as her six grandchildren Brianne, Courtney, Curtis, Deidra, Lane and Chelsea. Thanks to all our family and friends for their support, especially Nieces, Lynn, June and nephew Jack.
