Josephine (Jose) Kovich (nee Riley) December 13, 1910 - November 10, 2012 Aunt Jose passed away peacefully at the age of 101 at the Lynn Valley Care Centre in North Vancouver. Predeceased by parents Hubert and Annie, sisters Florence and Bessie, brothers Hubert and Norval, beloved husband Joe and many dear friends, she is survived by nephew Peter (Bernie), nieces Audrey and Anne and many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. A life-long Vancouver resident, she worked at Saba Bros., a women's clothing store on Granville Street, and for the Red Cross. She was a square dancer, league bowler and proud member of the Rebekahs, and enjoyed entertaining with Joe at the house with the copper door on West 20th Avenue. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, positive outlook, bold fashion sense and lively spirit. We take comfort in knowing she lived a long and full life and made the world a little bit more interesting by being in it. No service by request. Cremation entrusted to First Memorial Funeral Services. Jose will be reunited with Joe at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Burnaby.
