Joan LYONS Obituary
February 20, 1937 – January 1, 2013
Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Larry, having been married for 50 years. She is also survived by her sons; Stephen (Jane), Alexander (Shannon), Fraser (Crystal), grandchildren; Trey, Connor, Isabella and Jocelyn as well as many family members here and in England. A Funeral Mass to honour Joan will take place on Tuesday, January 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 8842- 119th St., Delta. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.

To Larry and Family, I heard this afternoon, I am very shocked. I saw you both last summer and I had no idea how serious things were. Words can't express my grief for all of your loss. My memories are fond of living beside you both and all our ups and downs as our families grew. Joan was very fiesty at heart! I am sure she faced her death as she did her life with passion. My condolences to you.
