ST. LAURENT, Stephen John
November 8, 1951- December 28, 2012
Steve passed away suddenly at home after a long battle with kidney disease. He is survived by his sisters Louise and Anne-Marie, and brothers Mark and Nick. Steve worked for many years in journalism at local Ontario papers and large urban newspapers before striking out on his own at Hole in the Wall Communications. Steve was a lover of music, Labrador Retrievers (he had 5 throughout his life), nature and photography. He lived for 25 years in his community of Hastings-Sunrise where he and his dogs were a familiar and welcome sight. In early years, he volunteered in the Britannia community where he served on many committees. Steve was known for his intelligence, wit, humor and generosity! There will be no service at Steve's expressed wishes. In lieu of flowers, either donations to the Kidney Foundation or to an account for veterinary care for Lee. Details on request!
