Janet Rose Sinclair February 20, 1925 - February 12, 2013 On February 12 Janet passed away peacefully. During her final days she was surrounded by the people that she loved and who loved her. She lived a long and happy life in Vancouver with her husband, Elmer, and her family. Janet and Elmer met as children and they spent their lives together, more than 63 of those years as husband and wife. For Janet, her family was her pride and joy - her life. Each of her four children, Bruce, Scott, Maureen and Nancy, appreciate how fortunate they were to have Janet as their mother. Especially memorable for the whole family were many happy summers on the Sunshine Coast. As her children grew, her family grew to include sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren and, this past summer to her great delight, a great-grandson. All of them were made part of her family without condition and they returned her affection. Janet and Elmer have many friends and those friends have come to know Janet's warm heart, her sense of humour and her kindness.
The Guest Book is expired.
Her family recognizes the care that Janet received from Dr. Angela Hutchinson and at Eagle Ridge Hospital and Crossroads Inlet Centre Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation or to the Crossroads Hospice Society. A special expression of thanks is extended to Maureen and Nancy for the care that they gave to their mother and give to their father. A private gathering will be held to celebrate Janet's life.
