Obituary
The Guest Book is expired.

WALL, Anne Marie
It is with great sadness we announce our mother Anne passed away
on the 24th of February, 2013 at age 74. After a fall in her home and several weeks in the Penticton ICU, Mom fought a courageous battle to stay with us but it was not meant to be. Elaine, Rick and MaryLou helped her leave this world by being by her side at the end and letting her know how much she was loved. Mom passed away gently, leaving behind family, friends and neighbours to grieve her loss. Mom joins her parents, James and Elna; her brother, Lee (Betty); her husbands, Orval and Frank; her children, Rita and Joe; her great- granddaughter Hanna in heaven. We all know they are welcoming her with open arms. Mom leaves behind her siblings; Fran, Rose, Renee, Lukie, Monica, Bob, Rhoda and their spouses; her children Elaine, Rick (MaryLou), Mike (Helen); her grandchildren Christina, Anton, Linda, Jennifer, Tanya, Eric, Debra, Tammy, David, Matthew, Angela, Jessica, Teri-Ann, Nicole, Kevin and their spouses; her great-grandchildren, Trinity, Riley, Logan, Christina, Sage, Leo, Shania, Kelly, Hope, Haylee, Simon, Emma, Rose, Kaley, Kara, Livia, Victoria and her numerous friends and neighbours. Mom will be remembered for her love of reading, her outspoken nature, her desire to be independent, her determination, her bingo adventures, her big smile and her cinnamon buns. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Providence Funeral Home, 1258 Main Street, Penticton, BC, at 12:00 noon. A light lunch will be served
Immediately after the service. It was Mom's wish that her ashes be buried next to Joe's, her youngest son who passed away in 2001. Commitment of her ashes will be at the Penticton Lakeview Cemetery after the lunch.
Mom loved flowers so they are welcome but we know she would have really appreciated donations to the SPCA (she loved her rescue cat and constant companion Jinga) and her children would appreciate donations to the Penticton Hospital Foundation, where her medical team tried valiantly to keep her with us and where she received the very best nursing care.
"Your passing has broken our hearts Mom but for many of us our hearts have suddenly opened wide to let the good stuff in…thank you for the lesson." Condolences may be sent to the family through
providencefuneralhomes.com.
