Pam, Ron, Kim & Don—
Munro was not only one of my mother's favourite cousins, he was also one of mine. I enjoyed visiting him (and Uncle Bill, when he was there) at the drug store in the years when I commuted from White Rock to Vancouver.
My most memorable visit to MacKenzie Drugs, however, was in 1968. I saw my parents there as they were taking my youngest brother home after he spent the first month of his life in Vancouver General Hospital: Munro and Rob, two who beat the odds, and shared a special bond.
I also loved to see Munro in his MacKenzie tartan kilt at family gatherings, as did the rest of my family and, I'm sure, the of the clan.
I am very sorry I am unable to be in Vancouver for the celebration of Munro's extraordinary life, but I know my brother Clint will be there to represent the Davies branch of the family.
With much love, and with sincere appreciation for being a small part of a life well lived,
Kay

While I never got a chance to spend a lot of time with Monro, he has left an indelible impression on me. And I'm sure many others...Such a wonderfully engaged soul with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. My sympathies in your loss Tannis
