NEMETH, Joseph (Joe)
Joe passed away suddenly on September 20, 2013 at the age of 87. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rosa, sister Eleanor, and nephew Shea. He will be remembered by his loving wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Kim; brother, James (Maureen); nephews, Joseph (Shirley), George (Gabriella), and Stephen (Kate); great nieces, Melanie (Steve), Pamela (Jason), Melissa, and Tamara; and great-great nephews, Rowan and Kieran, as well as extended family in Hungary and Canada, and his faithful friends. Joe was born in Hungary, spent his early years in Nelson, but he lived most of his life in Burnaby. He was proud to serve in the Canadian Scottish regiment during WWII. He worked for many years at Canron, Dominion Bridge and Ebco. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the paramedics and firefighters who did their utmost to assist. A special thanks to Caitlyn who stepped forward to perform CPR. The family is comforted by the compassion and professionalism of these individuals. Memorial Service will take place on Monday, September 30, 2013 starting at 2:00 pm in The Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation - Cardiology Research
