Bonnie CONACHER Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2, 2013.
CONACHER, Bonnie Aline
Born April 14, 1923, she departed this world on November 23, 2013. She will be forever missed by James Conacher, the love of her life and husband of 71 years. From the time Bonnie met Jim at the radio station in Omaha where she was the receptionist, through their travels during Jim's hockey-playing career, to settling in Toronto where Bonnie worked as the administrative assistant to one of Canada's leading tax accountants, they were rarely apart. When retirement came, Bonnie and Jim decided to try San Diego, but after a while they came back to Canada where they finally settled in West Vancouver. A kind, generous and charitable woman, Bonnie was an active volunteer at Lion's Gate Hospital, and for many years acted as the chairperson of the volunteers. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Lion's Gate Hospital Foundation for medical research would be appreciated.
