Margaret DAFOE Obituary
1941 - 2014
Of North Vancouver passed away in her sleep in Penticton, BC, on March 4. Margaret will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Surviving her is Paul, love of her life and dear husband for almost 53 years. Her children Michele (Richard), Lisa (Chris), and John (Sheri) and her grandchildren: Ryan, Liam, Neil, Geoff, Paul and Alyssa will miss her energy, optimism, quiet wit and practical wisdom. She was a woman of many talents, with always something on the go. Every community she joined became the benefit of her skills and generosity. Every one of us who knew her became more alive for knowing her. We will miss her cheerful presence dearly.

Hi Grandma. It’s been 7 years today since you have passed. I miss you so much every day. I often think about our cookies and lemonade dates, you showing me how to knit and you watching me ride my bike around the block making sure I don’t hurt myself. Your kind heart and ravishing smile reminds me to be a better person. The thing I miss the most is every time my family would leave your house after staying there for a while, you and grandpa would come out to the drive way and wave us good bye until we disappeared around the block. If I knew that the last wave would be the last, I would have hugged you tighter. I hope wherever you are, you are making your famous cookies and lemonade and thinking of the special times we shared together.
