Helmut Janzen

Helmut (Hal) Janzen February 12, 1934 - May 6, 2014 It is with great sadness we say goodbye to a dear husband, father and grandfather. Hal was born in Winkler, Manitoba and moved to Vancouver in 1968. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary, his brothers Henry and Bill, and sister Helen. He is survived by his wife Patricia and sister Irene Neufeld, his son Douglas (Debbie), daughter Krista (Patrick) Woods, daughter Lisa (Paul) Nishihata. Stepchildren Kathleen, James, Anne (Mike), Jennifer (Jeff), grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsea, Brendan, Jordan, Danielle, Benjamin, Thomas, Lauren, Rhiannon, Nicholas, Katherine, Matthew, and Kevin. Hal spent many years as a realtor in Richmond, and much of his spare time on the golf course. Special thanks to the staff at Laurel Place Hospice.
