Pat was a character whom I remember from high school. Big heart and full of laughter. He had a Volkswagon Beetle I believe. Not many students had cars in the mid 60s. It seemed he always had a full crew beyond the 4 seat capacity of the little car as they sped off to White Spot or other places unknown. He also was a welcome relief in the classroom which for the most part did not bring him any difficulties, with the exception of a Mr Pete Ohler. Seemed this teacher, a CFL player at time, did not take well to Pat's remarks one day and I thought he was going to toss Pat and the desk to the back of the room. Pat escaped unscathed and was in fine form after the incident. I remember him to be a very warm person regardless of who you were. I know the joy he brought to life in high school and I am sure afterwards. He will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

Perhaps someone can help us: We think this is the Patrick Flynn who went to Vancouver College and graduated in 1968. The grad class would like to know if this is 'our' Pat. Can anyone confirm that he went to Vancouver College? Email: [email protected] This guest book entry can be deleted if it is not him or if you respond.

Pat was a great guy with a heart of gold. I had the opportunity to know Pat many years ago and we had many laughs. Unfortunately we had lost touch over time. Condolences to his family.

As our Grandma always said he was a "wee pet" who brought much joy!
