SMITH, Brad (Major)
A Celebration of Life will be held for Major Brad Smith who was suddenly called home to be with his Lord on October 5, 2014 at the age of 60. Major Brad served The Salvation Army faithfully for 36 years and will be greatly missed. Major Brad will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife and partner Major Mary Smith; three children, Andrew, Sarah (Kevin), and Michael (Gretslie); grandchildren Madison, Noah and Owen; many family and friends. Service will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 at 2 p.m., preceded by viewing at 1 p.m. at the Richmond Salvation Army, 8280 Gilbert St, Richmond (604-277-2424).

Dear Mary,I only just heard of Brad's passing and it shocked and saddened me. I had the privilege of working with him and getting to know him through church service. He was a kind and gentle man who will always be in my heart forever. Mary I send my condolences to you and your family knowing that he is with God and watching over all of us is comforting at this time of sorrow and sadness. Will sorely miss him .

We are so sorry to hear about Major Brad. He did the service for our mother's passing on October 10th, 2013. He was so kind, thoughtful and helped us through such a hard time. I have thought of him many times and wished I had stopped in to tell him how much we appreciated him. My condolences to the family. He is in our prayers.
