JAEGGLE, Victor Robert David
Victor Robert David Jaeggle, 72, after a particularly emotionally harrowing last 9 months dealing with Frontotemporal Dementia, was mercifully and suddenly released into the peacefulness of the Lord on December 8, 2014, at Langley Memorial Hospital, due to complications. He was born in Vancouver, BC, on February 26, 1942 to William K. and Julie/M. Julia J. Jaeggle. Vic retired in 1998, as a Senior Pricing Officer with CN Rail, after 37 years of proud service. He was predeceased by his parents, his oldest sibling Bill/ William J., and his nephew Mark Jaeggle. Vic is survived by: daughter Susan, son Phil/Philip and daughter-in-law Amy, grandson Carter, sister-in- law Patricia Jaeggle, brother Gilbert (Maureen), sister Lucy Schikora (Martin Sr.), nephews and nieces: Bill/William A. (Lisa), Peter, Kathy/ Kathleen, Scott (Melanie), April (Mike), David, Kathy/Kathleen, Judy, Linda (Brent), Martin Jr., Mike/Michael (Janet) and Monica (Don), numerous great and great-great-nephews and nieces, including Mike/Michael, Carmelle, Mark, Paul and John, extended family, many friends, including Anne Jaeggle (nee Anderton), mother of his children and wife of many years, and also his cat, "Robert" (lovingly fostered for 9 months and now forever homed by a close childhood friend of Susan's, Gabriella and her family). The family offers many thanks to all those who showed him such kindness during his last few years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., December 18, 2014 at St. Mary's Church, 5239 Joyce St., Vancouver, BC, followed by Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby, BC and reception at St. Mary's Church Hall (basement).
