Joyce Beebe

Joyce Beebe 1929 - 2016 Our dear Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, widow, friend, passed away on December 27th to a pain-free place of repose. Born in Prince Rupert she was the eldest of 5 siblings. She made many lifelong friends while training to be a registered nurse, a career she left to raise three children and then returned to after her kids reached adulthood. Married to Dad (Bruce) in 1954 for 60 years, they raised a family, worked hard, then retired to Kelowna in 1989 for a well-deserved retirement. If Mom had a passion in addition to her family it was playing bridge, another source of many lifelong friends. She had a history of painful ailments, and combined with leukemia in her last months she was ready to re-unite with Dad.
