VANDALIA — William "Chad" Miller, 46, of Tipp City, a beloved Father, Husband, Son, Uncle, Leader and Friend, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Chad is survived by his loving wife of 15 years Shelly, his beautiful blonde little girls Emma and Emily, his Mother Cathy; sister-in-laws Holly and Kim; brother-in-laws Shawn and Shannon; nieces Mallory, Samantha, Madison, Ella and Kendal; nephews Harrison, Jack, and Blake. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Eileen and Don Lutz, Harriet and John Mote, his father Tom Miller, and brother Jeff Miller.

Chad was a pioneer in the excavation industry. He worked diligently his whole life with his dad at Miller Bros., and then later started his own successful company with his wife, C. Miller Excavating. Chad worked passionately, and was always the first one to share his success with the people who worked beside him. He loved racing for the NMRO was an avid NASCAR enthusiast. He loved his family and was so very proud of his delightful little girls, and could often be found spectating many of their sporting events.

A funeral service to honor his life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St., West Milton. Burial will follow in Polk Grove Cemetery, Butler Township. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online memories may be left for the family at
