Loretta was born to Gilbert Ramos and Lucy Cabrera on January 6, 1937, and she entered the Kingdom of Heaven on February 9, 2013, after a multi-year battle with Multiple System Atrophy.
She is survived by her children: Sandi (Andy) of Buda, Texas, Steve of Santa Monica, Dan (Yen) of Santa Barbara, Annette of Ventura, Mark (Kim) of Sanger, Texas, Donna of Oxnard, and Darryl; grandchildren: Stephanie, Logan, Lia, Niko, Krystal, Ashley, Tyler, Robert, Dillon, AJ, Brandon and Daniel; great-grandchildren: Samantha and Kaylie; and siblings Gilbert Ramos and Gloria Robles. Loretta is now together with her husband, Manuel; their granddaughter, Erika; and her sister, Patricia. Loretta married Manuel Gallardo in 1956 and raised the family in Goleta. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 23 years and was active in Catholic Charities, the Young Ladies Institute and Decolores in Santa Barbara. They were parishioners of St. Raphael's Catholic Church. After moving to Camarillo Loretta became a parishioner of Serra Padre Catholic Church until her passing. Her creative nature led her to enjoy cake decorating, making elaborate costumes for Halloween and she loved to crochet. She enjoyed getting together with family, friends and neighbors. All are welcome to join in the celebration of Loretta's life. Let us not say good-bye, but rather, until we see you again.
