Bobbie Castelan Obituary

Bobbie was born Sept. 22, 1935, in Mansfield, Ark. She passed away Nov. 14, 2012, she was 77.

A resident of Ventura County for 70 years, Bobbie was a Licensed Vocational Nurse who worked at St. John's and Santa Paula Hospitals for 40 plus years.

She is remembered as a sweet, caring, and loving person who loved the Lord and her family. She will be so dearly missed.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents Fay and Octa Helms; brother, Ira "Bill" Helms and sister, Joan Kelly. She now leaves behind her brothers Howard Helms (wife Glenna), and Wayne Helms (wife Phyllis); son, William "Bill" Reed; daughter, Kimberly Cruz; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many, many friends.

A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held Saturday, November 17 at 11 a.m. at West Coast Fellowship, Free Will Baptist Church, 406 Acacia Road, Santa Paula, Ca 93060

So sorry to have read about Bobbie's passing, my condolences to her family. I worked with Bobbie for years at St. Johns Hospital, and enjoyed her company., she was a real sweetheart. I will keep her in my prayers tonight..Sue Zacher, RN

Ive known Bobbie for many years and what a great Woman she was, she was 2 years ahead of me in school and what a good Christian Lady, her brother Bill was taught how to drive a truck by my Dad and what a great guy he was God Bless all of you. Our Prayer are with you Shirley Graves Hansen
