White, Frank - Camarillo  
Frank White Camarillo, CA We are saddened to announce the passing of Frank White on Wednesday, August 26th. Frank was born on December 30, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah, moving at a young age to West Lafayette, Indiana before settling in San Bernardino, CA when in high school. He graduated from Pacific High School and went to San Bernardino Valley College for two years. He finished his college education at the University of Arizona with a BS in Pharmacy. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and served as president . It was there that he met the love of his life, Linda Haas, on a blind date. They married upon graduation in 1963 and moved to Phoenix where he had a job as a pharmacist at Dale Drug Co., which he later purchased. He and Linda had three children and lived in Phoenix until 1979, when Frank decided to change careers. He moved the family to California and he went into business with his brother, Dave White. They ran Ag Land Services, an ag management company and Realty Services, an agricultural real estate company the next 30 years. He also was a partner with his brother in Plaza Development. In Phoenix, Frank was active in the Arizona Pharmaceutical Association and the Phoenix Thunderbirds. He was active in Camarillo in the 80's, serving as president of the Chamber of Commerce and on the Boys and Girls Club board. He was also a member of noontime Rotary, Ventura County Economic Development Association, Rancheros Adolfo, the Ventura County Game Preserve and Las Posas Country Club. Frank was passionate about his family, fishing and hunting. He lived a good life, fought a good fight and always loved a good joke. The songs, Froggy Went a Courtin' and The Strawberry Roan will always be associated with Frank, remembering all of the words most of the time. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda, sons Greg (Tracy) White of Phoenix, AZ, Todd White of Ventura, CA, and daughter Sally (Mark) London of Redondo Beach, CA. He is also survived by grandchildren, Courtney White and Katie and Niko London. Along with them, he is survived by Linda's daughter, Loreen (Tom) Meloeny, Calabasas, CA and their children, Harrison Meloeny and Chelsea (Josh) Cobia, his brothers, Dave (Leila)White of Camarillo, and Steve White, New York City, a sister Sharon (Ken) Clark of Topeka, KS, and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 11 A.M to 2 P.M. at Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Silverado Calabasas for their wonderful care and compassion.
