Tackett, Leila Janeen (Fraley) - Camarillo
Leila Janeen (Fraley) Tackett Camarillo, CA Leila Janeen (Fraley) Tackett, 45 peacefully passed away and joined her Lord and Savior in heaven on Saturday, October 3, 2015 after her brave 8 year battle with cancer. She passed away in her home, a room away from her parent's bedroom where she was born 45 years earlier. Leila was born June 16, 1970 to parents Robert (Tansen) and Jalelah (Qahira) Fraley in their home on "Fraley Lane". She was the youngest of 6 siblings, in order of age; Dean Fraley, Eric Fraley, Daryl Fraley, Alan (David) Fraley, and Tana (Fraley) Johnson. She spoke often of a happy childhood on this acre of avocado trees. On this same property she raised her own family where she continued to create and share countless happy moments with family and friends. Leila led a beautiful faithful life that inspired many. She was a massage therapist for 19 years at Spanish Hills Country Club. Her joy of helping others through massage was one of the many things she treasured. Her clients always said she had a "magical touch" but she always said it was the Holy Spirit working through her. She enjoyed her Christian life by helping others, singing in the choir, being involved with her bible studies and sharing the word of God. The beach was one of her favorite past times, especially during the later afternoon when the sun was low and the water glassy and smooth. In fact, as was her wish, her immediate family went to the beach and enjoyed the sunset of her last day here on earth. Leila's greatest joy in life was being a wife and mom. She enjoyed her 28 years (23 married) with Todd. They loved just being in each other's company and as long as they were together all was well. Leila loved all of her children with all of her heart. She always loved the special relationship she had with each one of them. She loved her deep talks with her "sweet heart" Rachelle (25) her playful and teasing times with "my boy" Easton (22) and her "two sweeties" her nightly prayers with Kaycie-Rae (13) and cuddle time with Taylin (11) She is survived by her immediate family listed above and her large beautiful extended family of 38 amazing individuals. She recalled once being asked when she was a young child, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and her response would always be, "a mother and a singer." She lived that dream every day. The Tackett family wants to extend a heart- felt thank you to our great community who, have been on this 8 year journey with us. So many of you provided prayers, meals, care, financial and family support, your impact will be everlasting. Leila stated in her last days, "Please let everyone know how truly thankful I am for all they did for us." Please join us in a celebration of life for Leila on October 17, 2015 at Camarillo Community Church. Leila's celebration will begin at 12:00pm. Leila's wish is that all in attendance wear light colors that represent her gentle and soft spirit. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to Camarillo Community Church noted "In memory of Leila" 1322 Las Posas Rd., Camarillo CA 93010.
