Conner, Marilynn Annette - Camarillo  
Our dear loved one was transformed into the image of Jesus on Nov. 6, 2014. She went peacefully in her sleep. She had Congestive Heart Failure which caused Pulmonary difficulties.Marilynn was born on Sept.12, 1935; born and raised in Santa Barbara, and attended the public schools there. Through the ministry of Youth For Christ, Marilynn accepted God's Plan of Redemption through Christ when she was sixteen years old.Marilynn trained to be an X-ray Technician after graduation from Santa Barbara High School. Marrying Fain S. Conner on June 24, 1955, she then turned her endeavors to making a home and rearing their four wonderful children: Michael Fain, Bethany Gail, Andrea Marie, and Joy Rachelle. These wonderful children have given wonderful grandchildren to us; two of whom have given wonderful great-grandchildren. Marilynn is survived by her husband, four children, seven grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren. A Memorial Service is pending. In memory of Marilynn, donations can be given to the Ventura County Rescue Mission.

Conover, Helen M. - Port Hueneme  
Helen M. Conover, 85, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2014. She was born in Santa Rosa, CA to William and Minnie Brown on February 7, 1929, one of ten children. Helen was a homemaker and babysat several children and grandchildren in her home over the years. She graduated from Oxnard High School in 1947. That same year she married Joshua, a Seabee stationed at Port Hueneme Naval Base. They purchased a home in Port Hueneme in 1954 where she lived until her death. Helen was known for baking pies and for canning vegetables from the family garden. She had a kind heart and she devoted her life to the care of her family. Helens parents, her brothers Bob, Roy, Ray, Owrie and Jim and sisters Pearl and Velma, son-in-law, John Adair and daughter-in-law Rhonda Conover, preceded her in death. She is survived by Josh, her husband of 67 years, sisters Audrey Thompson of Pasadena, CA and Alpha Poole of Silver Spring, MD, daughter Jeanie Sater (husband Gary) of Lebanon, OR, daughter Patti Adair of Oxnard, and son Steve Conover of Sweet Home, OR; grandchildren Alvin, Randy and Chris Gorgita, John (Laura) and Kevin (Bonnie) Adair and Stevey (Kelly) Conover; 10 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, 10:00 A.M., at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow.

Grace Elizabeth Cripps, 92, born July 20, 1922, passed away November 16, 2014. Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m, Forest Lawn Memorial-Park. She is preceded in death by husband, Arthur S. Cripps, Son, Dennis R. Cripps and Son-in-law, James J. Janousek. She is survived in death by Son, Phillip Cripps - Cathedral City, Son, Steve Cripps and Wife, Beverly - Oxnard, Daughter-in-law, Linda Cripps - Burbank, Sister, Ruby Dobbs - Jonesboro, GA. Cuellar, Juan Guillermo - Oxnard  
Juan Guillermo Cuellar, of Oxnard, California, passed away November 21, 2014 after battling cancer at his home in Fresno surrounded by his beloved daughters. Juan was born in French Camp, California on August 29, 1969 to Juan and Juana Cuellar. He was raised in Oxnard and graduated from Rio Mesa High School. He attended Oxnard College where he played baseball. He transferred to Fresno State to follow his dreams. Juan worked for Quickie Wheelchairs in Fresno for 23 years where he was an accomplished Lead Custom Product Builder. Juan was a sports enthusiast. He loved playing, watching, coaching, and reading about sports. He was a very loyal Indianapolis Colts fan. Family and friends were very important to Juan as he loved sharing time with them. He was a very caring and generous husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Juan is survived by his wife, Eva Cuellar, three daughters, Adrianna, Amanda and Emily, his father Juan Cuellar, and his mother Juana Cuellar, siblings Hector, Oscar, Alex, Vanessa Evelia and Marcela. In Ventura County, also survived by God-daughter Ashley, nieces Crystal, Stephanie, nephews Oscar Jr, Ricky, Hector Jr, Adrian, Christian, Michael, Jacob and sister-in-law Rozie. He also had many friends who were just like family. Juan's big heart and smile will be greatly missed. Services will be held in Fresno and in Oxnard. Cull, Leo Carl - Simi Valley  
Leo Carl Cull, born in Erie, PA on April 11, 1930, passed away Nov 3, 2014 in Palmdale, CA. He enlisted in the Army in 1951 and was stationed in Austria as a Morse Code operator. Leo lived in Simi Valley, CA since 1972 and was a realtor with Troop Real Estate. He is survived by four children, Richard Cull (Sue), Sally Behm (Dennis), Diane Cull & Jenny Deahl (Bob), nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son James Cull (Grace). A memorial service will be held at Simi Valley Community Church, 2000 Royal Ave., Simi Valley at 11:00 on Sat., Nov. 22.

Curry, Bettie Fae - Ventura  
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bettie Fae Curry on October 24, 2014 with her loving husband Max by her side. She was the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin and friend ever. If you were lucky enough to know Bettie you know she enriched your life in so many ways. By her shining example she taught us to do the right thing and be the best people we could be. She was strong and fearless and we will miss her all the days of our lives. She was born Bettie Fae Pearman on October 20, 1934 and spent the first 22 years of her life in Missouri. She married Max Curry on October 15, 1955 and in 1957 they packed their belongings and moved to California where she lived the remainder of her life. She was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Olive O'Dell and John and Docia Pearman, parents Vernon and Evelyn Pearman, Sister Bonnie Morton and her husband Herbert and several aunts, uncles, sisters and brothers in-law and good friends. She is survived by her husband Max, daughter Debbie and husband Manuel, son Mark, grandchildren Amanda, Morgan and Sarah. She will also be missed by her Aunt Kathryn and family, many extended family and friends in Springfield and Hartville, Missouri, and Bakersfield, Orange County and Pismo Beach California. She was laid to rest in Little Creek Cemetery in Hartville, Missouri on Saturday November 8, 2014. There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday December 13th at the Perez Family Funeral Home 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo from 10 to 2 - light lunch served.

Davis, Helen Rose Chassell - Camarillo  
Helen Rose Chassell Davis or Camarillo, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Passed away on October 30, 2014 of natural causes. Helen Rose was born in Gillette, Wyoming on October 4, 1915 to Harry and Rosa Chassell. She was one of three sisters. After graduation from Gillette High school, she attended junior college in Coffeyville Kansas . On September 20, 1937, she married Richard A. Davis in Gillette. They had four children; Larry, Wendy Lee, Jo Ellen, and Ronald. She spent most of her life in Wisconsin Rapids WI. where she was active in several organizations. She and Richard moved to Camarillo, CA in 1975. He passed away on March 29, 1983. She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood for over 65 years and most recently a member of Chapter UM in Camarillo. She was preceded in death by her two sisters and her parents. She is survived by her son Larry (Pam) of Camarillo, daughter Wendy Lee Weiss (Ward) of Fremont, WI, daughter Jo Ellen Davis- Immel (Val) of Phelps, WI and son, Ronald (Deb) of Scandinavia, WI. She had eight grand children and 11 great grandchildren. She also leaves a number of nieces and nephews. She was known for her kind and loving heart. She enjoyed talking with people and always put her family's desires ahead of her own needs. She didn't want to be a burden on anyone. In accordance with her wishes no services will be held and people wishing to remember her are asked to make a donation in her name to Cottey College,1000 West Austin, Nevada, Missouri, 64772 or the PEO Foundation,ELF (Chapter UM), 3700 Grand Ave. Des Moines IA. 50312 or Livingston Memorial Hospice, 1996 Eastman Ave. Ventura,CA. 93003. Final arrangements are being handled by Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo. She will be interred at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton, WI. The family expresses sincere thanks to Livingston Memorial Hospice and the loving caregivers at Advanced Residential Care Home.

Dykes, Alice Kathleen - Oxnard  
Alice Kathleen Dykes, co-founder of the Rose Scapular Corp. in Oxnard, died peacefully early Sunday morning 11-16-2014 at her daughter's home in Roanoke, VA. Born in New York on February 18, 1931 to Martin and Ann Neumaier, she had a fascinating life. While a young girl, she survived the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. She attended and graduated from the University of Maryland, and then married her sweetheart Bill, who was in the U.S. Navy. She went on to raise 8 children, attended Virginia Commonwealth University and taught school part-time. Moving to California, she and Bill co-founded the Rose Scapular Corp. and Dykes Construction Corp. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years. She leaves behind 8 children, Margaret, William, Michael (Beverly), John, Mary (Buck), Kathy (John), Joseph (Kathy), and Joanne. 14 Grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and 7 sisters and brothers. Services held at Santa Clara Cemetery & Mortuary, 2370 No. H Street, Oxnard. Friday evening, Nov. 21st, Viewing: 4-8 p.m., Rosary at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday Nov. 22nd, Catholic Mass 10 a.m. at the Santa Clara Cemetery Chapel, followed by burial.

Edwards, Judith A. - Conejo Valley  
Judy entered into the presence of the Lord on Monday, November 17th, after a long illness. Judy was born January 3, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, but had been a long-time resident of the Conejo Valley and working as a realtor / broker for many years with Century 21. She recently had moved to Granite Bay, California, to be with her daughters and some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy is survived by three children: daughter Victoria L. Biermann and husband Jim; son Jack N. Edwards and daughter Mary K. Edwards; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers: Richard Riemer of Idaho and Donald Riemer of California. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Edwards, last year. A memorial service, at graveside, will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at 2:00 p.m. Location: Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park Mortuary, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village, CA 91362.

Finch, Louise A. - Camarillo  
Louise Antoinette Finch, two months shy of her 100th birthday, died peacefully on November 16th in her Las Posas North Camarillo home of 49 years attended by two of her seven children. Mrs. Finch was one of nine children of James and Ruth Hughes of St. Louis and wife of Lt. Col (ret.) Charles Finch, MD of New York City all of whom predeceased her. She is survived by two sisters Ruth Feldmann of St. Louis, Celestine Hughes of London, England, brother Paul Hughes of Chicago, Illinois, her sons Arthur Finch, Esq. of Washington D.C., Dr. Charles Finch of Atlanta Georgia, Dr. Michael Finch of Modesto California, Dr. Anthony Finch of Shanghai China, Dr. Mark Finch of Castro Valley California, G. A. Finch, Esq. of Chicago, Illinois and one daughter, Marilyn Ucok, M.A. of Moorpark. She is survived by twenty-one grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Finch was the founder of the Channel Islands Chapter of the Links, Inc. in the 1980s, a national all-women's charity organization. Her greatest joy in life was raising her seven children, encouraging them in their professional careers in law, medicine, international studies, and speech pathology. She also took great pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow and develop into young adults. Louise A. Finch was the bedrock of her family and will be deeply missed by her family and close friends. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Mary Magdalen Church at the corner of Las Posas and Crestview in Camarillo at 10 a.m. on Friday November 21st. The viewing will occur on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 pm at Griffin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Louise A.
